Please help one of your fellow members. Rebecca Kirk has been a member and University of Michigan employee for almost 18 years. She is a Custodian II in Bursley Hall. However, she recently lost everything she had in a devastating house fire that swept through a mobile home complex in Pittsfield Township on Tuesday, June 29th. Rebecca had only been in the home for a week and has lost everything since she paid cash for the home.
We are hoping that our members may be able to help with donations. A fund has been set up at the TCF Bank on Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti leave them in care of Rebecca Kirk. You can also drop off your donations at the Local Office and we will deposit the money into the account.
